The golf course in Cambodia won an award for being the best golf course at The World Golf Awards in 2019.

The Garden City Golf Club is a newer golf course that opened in 2013 and is considered one of the best in Cambodia. Only 25 minutes away from downtown Phnom Penh, there is an 18-hole golf course that covers 7,361 yards. It was designed by Weerayudth Phetbuasak and was built on old rice fields. The land has been changed to make a golf course with hills, big grassy areas, and water obstacles. The fairways don’t have much slope, so if you don’t hit the ball far, the golf game will be difficult. The 15th hole is special because it has two greens. The first player can decide which green to aim for. No matter which green you choose, you need to be ready to make a precise shot because there is water and sand around on three sides. Garden City Golf Club offers a fun and challenging golf course.

The Garden City Golf Club in Phnom Penh was created by Weerayudth Phetbuasak and it opened in 2013 for people to play golf.
